At the refinery in Detroit, Michigan, we planned, scheduled and executed all heavy rigging and hoisting associated with the Fall 2012 Maintenance Turnaround. The aggressive 61-day schedule was one of the most successful in Marathon’s history. Our crews worked two shifts per day and peaked at 140 workers. More than 70,000 direct exposure hours were completed safely with zero recordable injuries.
